Inside Kettlebell Principles Level 1 are the major principles and fundamentals of kettlebell training, all of the foundational exercises, plus the cues to coach them safely and effectively.
For the practical assessment you’ll be required to teach 5 foundational kettlebell movements. For the theory assessment you’ll be required to answer 5 multiple choice questions.

Kettlebell Training According to the history of kettlebell training, this unique training tool has been much preferred by strongmen and athletes for centuries. Hardly surprising since kettlebells allow you to perform some highly effective exercises that are guaranteed to show results in quick time.
Single Leg Kettlebell Deadlift The deadlift is an extremely effective workout for building muscle and strengthening the posterior chain (back, glutes, hips, and hamstrings) while also increasing hip flexibility and stability. To perform this exercise, hold the kettlebell in your right hand and position the left leg a little above the ground. While maintaining a neutral spine; lean your torso forward and raise your left leg behind in a straight line in parallel with the ground. Your right hand holding the kettlebell should hang down firmly in a straight line and the left hand should rest against the waist, bent at the elbow. Return to an upright position while maintaining a straight back and repeat on the other side.
Kettlebell Swing The kettlebell is an amazingly effective workout for strengthening your body and burning unwanted body fat. Performing this workout regularly will help clients build tremendous power in their hamstring, core and glutes. And since the exercise is explosive, you’re heart rate will become super-elevated which will, in turn, turbocharge your metabolism.
To begin, place the kettlebell on the ground 10-12 inches in front of you. Position your feet shoulder-width apart and lift the kettlebell with both hands slightly off the ground. In one swinging motion, hike the kettlebell backward between your legs and then drive your hips forward hard to send the bell forward and into an arc. At its height, the kettlebell should reach your shoulder level.
The Kettlebell Push Press This is a phenomenally explosive workout that works the large shoulder muscles, triceps and midsection. It also works your core tremendously and compels your body to create more power from the muscles in your lower body.
To perform this exercise, hold the kettlebell by the horns at chest height. Both hands should rest under the chin and the kettlebell should be positioned outward. Maintain a firm torso, tight glutes and a straight back.
To do this, begin in the rack position and lower yourself into a partial squat. Then rise up in an explosive motion while driving your arms overhead. Pause at the top, ensuring that the biceps rest against your ears and wrists are position flat. Lower the kettlebell slowly and repeat from the rack position.
